LOCATION OF THE HOUSE

The holiday apartment is ideally located for skiers, hikers, and mountain bikers.
House Obernauer is located 800 meters above sea level in a quiet residential area at the foot of the Hahnenkamm, Kitzbühel's local mountain. It is about 800 meters from Kitzbühel's old town.

Also nearby is the indoor swimming pool with two pools filled with water up to 30 degrees Celsius, massage jets, water slides, a heat cabin, a solarium, and a sauna. Hiking trails lead to the Schwarzsee lake and the Gieringer Weiher pond, or past the Einsiedelei mountain inn and over the Seidlalm to the Hahnenkamm. From there, easy hiking trails lead to the Ehrenbachhöhe and further to the Pengelstein. A ski slope from the Hahnenkamm runs close to the house. From the Streif, famous for the legendary Hahnenkamm race, as well as from the practice slope with its free lifts and children's ski school, it is about a 500-meter walk to the apartment. The valley station of the Hahnenkamm cable car and the Kitzbühel-Hahnenkamm train station are about 700 meters away. The cable car can also be reached directly via the nearby ski slope. The nearest cross-country ski trail toward Aurach and Jochberg is about 300 meters away. On the opposite side of the valley, you can easily reach the Kitzbüheler Horn with the Hornbahn cable car. From the Horn summit, you have a magnificent view all the way to the Hohe Tauern mountain range and, on a clear day, even to Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria. From here, you can hike through the Alpine Flower Garden to the Alpenhaus and further to the Bichlalm, Hochwildalm, and Aurach Wildlife Park, or you can hike down to Sankt Johann or Kitzbühel.
